OHD is the manufacturer of the Quantifit® respirator fit test system, as well as U.S. Distributor for the new doseBadge5 noise dosimeter. The Quantifit® instrument measures face-to-facepiece seal of respirators (masks) worn in the workplace. Using Air as the challenge agent, the accuracy of the Quantifit® ensures that no particles or contaminates will put the mask wearer in danger. The Quantifit® is also the only fit test system approved to use the OSHA REDON protocol allowing for a full test in 3 minutes. The new DoseBadge 5 noise dosimeter combines rugged durability with the latest in personal monitoring. DoseBadge5 offers 4 customizable channels, 1 second data logging, and full remote control of the dosimeter through the dBLink App (Android & iOS). OHD also sells a line of products that measures physical functions that may be affected by the job, to make sure an employee is not in danger. These products include sound level meters, spirometers, vision screeners and post offer testing equipment.

About The Alabama Workforce Training Center The Alabama Workforce Training Center provides training for the manufacturing and construction industries in the Birmingham and Central Alabama areas. Trainees are existing employees of companies who desire to advance their skills. The ultimate purpose is to provide specific skill training to the employees and to help maintain an adequately trained workforce for the manufacturing and construction industries. FACILITY This facility is approximately 56,000 square feet of shop space including several classrooms, conference rooms, and a 300 person auditorium. Mission Statement The Mission of the AWTC and AIDT is to provide quality workforce development for Alabama’s new and expanding businesses, and to expand the opportunities of its citizens through the jobs these businesses create.
